Notes o Story Summary: This dark comedy introduces us to Lucy St. Martin who, when dumped and fired in the same breathe, she impulsively decides that marrying Ben Keller, recent Lottery winner and childhood friend, is the only solution to years of disappointments. Through careful planning and crafty manipulations, Lucy is able to realize her goal (money or love?), only to learn that Ben’s lifetime obsession with her had turned him into a budding serial killer. As their life begins anew, prodded by Ben’s mother, a detective starts to piece together the town’s mystery… Hmmm… what’s a girl to do?!?
