Up against major labels who dominate the chart it places the company neatly inside the top 10 at number nine. The research is based on a survey of 500 key campaigns that have aired in the last 12 months.
Duke & The King's magnificently laid-back Shine On You will continue its run as the back-drop for the great Electric Ireland advert this summer. It can be seen for three week periods in May, July and September.

Silva Screen’s recording of the 1967 theme, from the James Bond parody, Casino Royale has been featured in the season five finale, The Phantom, from AMC's award-winning series Mad Men. The theme appeared in the poignant scene where Don Draper bumps into Peggy at a movie theatre and reservedly congratulates her on recent successes. The great thing about the scene is that the audience cannot tell whether both characters are there to see the 1967 film or whether it is simply backing music.
PPL have just published their annual review of 2011 which reveals that the fourth most popular classical piece of music in the UK last year was Silva Screen’s On The Beautiful Blue Danube. PPL create their charts not just from radio plays but use of recordings in public places. This success also underlines the increasing use of classical music in television programming.
